Account Executive (True Sky)

JOB SUMMARY:

As an Account Executive, you must be a proven, talented and highly motivated individual.  You must have the ability to drive new revenue opportunities for the True SkyTM Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting tool.  As the Account Executive, you are responsible for building relationships with prospective client companies by utilizing a variety of avenues. This role requires specific expertise in areas including Corporate Performance Management and Budgeting and Planning solutions. Previous experience with Clarity, Cognos, IBM TM1, Prophix, or other similar platforms will be a definite asset.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Qualify, manage and close opportunities focused on True SkyTM Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Build relationships with potential clients and develop an understanding of their organizational structure, current business challenges, and business objectives
  • Identify and create business opportunities with key decision makers
  • Prospect, qualify, track and accurately forecast business opportunities using Microsoft CRM
  • Develop individual account strategies to effectively penetrate accounts
  • Develop, share, and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors
  • Assume full responsibility of quota attainment as agreed to and communicated by the Sales Manager
  • Ensure successful implementations by coordinating with Professional Services
  • Participate and contribute to applicable industry conferences
  • Commitment to continually build a pipeline of sales opportunities using the “tools of the trade”

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record in software sales and financial background
  • Experience with Corporate Performance Management, Enterprise Management, and Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting tools such as Hyperion, Clarity and TM1 would be an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a direct sales role selling solutions or professional services to CFOs, senior finance, accounting and IT professionals
  • Comfort with business planning, budgeting and analysis and articulating the associated value proposition is essential
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience in setting focused targets and achieving sales goals
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction or supervision
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft CRM and other related Microsoft Office Tools
