Summary: Distribution Fundamentals training is recommended for Customers who plan to utilize the Inventory, Purchase Order Processing and Sales Order Processing modules.

Description:

The Distribution Training course series develops knowledge of the Inventory, Purchase Order Processing and Sales Order Processing modules. Topics discussed are the setup required to process inventory transactions, purchase orders and sales invoices. You will also learn the integration between the Inventory, Purchase Order Processing and Sales Order Processing modules, as well as how they integrate with other Microsoft Great Plains modules to streamline the workflow of your business.

The Sales Order Processing module is composed of the following topics:
  • Introduction & Objectives
  • Overview and Setup
  • Entering Quotes, Orders, Back Orders and Returns
  • Using Special Item Types
  • Printing, Posting and Transferring
  • Fulfilling, Allocating and Committing Documents
  • Editing and Removing Records
  • Questions and Answers
Prerequisites:
Working knowledge of Dynamics System Manager, Receivables Management and Payables Management is required
